DealerRater is Ready for NADA 2018!

The NADA Show is aptly named, for NADA is a bit like show and tell for any company appearing there. DealerRater has a lot to show this year. Here are a few highlights of what you’ll experience by visiting our booth, 4802C:

  • Insightful thought leadership. Our new report, What Makes a Five-Star Dealership Review? gives dealers a north star for improving your performance. We used natural language processing to take a deep dive into 1.4 million reviews published on DealerRater.com and Cars.com in 2017. We uncovered the common themes that crop up in the most glowing customer reviews as well as the most critical. As I discussed in a recent DrivingSales article, the results underscore how important it is for everyone in the dealership — ranging from the receptionist to the salesperson to the service technician – to give customers a VIP treatment on the lot and in the service lane.
  • A LotShot tutorial. DealerRater customers have a handy tool – LotShot™ — that enhances any review through the power of visual storytelling. LotShot makes it possible for dealers to snap a photo of happy customers upon delivery and either text or email to them a link to the photo along with a review request. The customer receives the text or email with the photo link and is invited to write a review and post the photo on DealerRater.   • Connections Plus tutorial. We will show you how to simplify the important process of getting customers to review your dealership with DealerRater Connections Plus. DealerRater Connections Plus is part of our DealerRater Connections product suite, through which dealerships publish employee profiles and reviews through one platform that syndicates reviews to an audience of more than 31 million unique shoppers each month[i]. Additionally, top salespeople are also featured on Cars.com – to start creating connections right where a consumer is researching their purchase.
